How to Assemble the PetSafe® Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder
Before You Begin
The conveyor, lid and hopper that acts as the food container, and the bowl should be washed with warm soapy water, rinsed and dried thoroughly prior to use.
Install the crumb catcher into the conveyor. This may already be installed.
Align one lip on the conveyor belt with the alignment arrows on the side of the conveyor.
Insert the conveyor into the base of the feeder.
Lock the conveyor in place by closing the red latch. Push the latch towards the front of the feeder to close. You will hear a snap or click when it locks.
Insert the hopper into the top of the feeder and latch into place on both sides. The auger inside of the feeder should be inside of the hopper hole before latching.
Place the lid on top. Insert the flat edge of the lid first, then snap into place.
Install the bowl holder by placing the feeder on the lip of the bowl holder. Then place the bowl into the holder.
