How To Replace the Carbon and Foam Filters in My PetSafe® Outdoor Dog Fountain
Important Information
Replace the carbon filter every 2 to 4 weeks when used indoors and every 1 to 2 weeks when used outdoors.
Replace the foam filter every 1-2 months.

Replace the Carbon Filter
Remove the filter housing lid from the housing.
Pull the carbon filter out of the filter housing and discard.
Rinse the new carbon filter thoroughly under cold water to remove any loose carbon dust.
Insert the filter into the grooves of the filter housing with the black side facing out toward the bowl. Then replace the lid on the filter housing.
Replace the Foam Filter
Gently press on each side of the housing where it locks into the bowl and lift it off.
Lift the foam filter from the fountain base. Replace the foam filter with a new one.
Replace the filter housing by lining up the locking tabs with the openings on the top of the bowl. Gently push down until you hear the tabs lock in place.
