My PetSafe® Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder is Dispensing Meals Outside of the Scheduled Time
The most common reason the PetSafe® Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder dispenses extra food outside of scheduled mealtimes is due to a child or a pet pressing the Feed Now button the feeder. Follow the following steps to lock the button and prevent this from occurring.
Open the My PetSafe® app.
Select the Pet’s feeder.
Select Settings at the bottom of the screen.
Select Button Lock.
Use the slider to highlight Button Lock to blue. This will disable the use of the Feed Now function on the feeder, but not within the app.
